Toni ZUCCHERI (1936–2008) for Mazzega - Lot 247
Toni ZUCCHERI (1936–2008) for Mazzega
Murano glass table lamp with a blue iridescent finish and a chrome-plated metal base
A delicate trail of ethereal blue seems to float weightlessly within the crystal, creating a mesmerizing nebula-like effect when the lamp is lit.
A rare and highly technical detail, the top of the globe curves inward, creating a sculptural relief and magnificent plays of light.
Handcrafted: The glass is thick, mouth-blown, with a wide, polished neck (clean-cut edge), a hallmark of high-quality craftsmanship.
Italy, circa 1970
60 x 25 x 25 cm
