Willow armchair in blackened ash with a curved backrest and storage space under the seat. The chair’s curved backrest forms a willow motif, and the latticework consists of a series of short horizontal inserts between the continuous vertical slats. The tall, semicircular backrest served to separate the entrance from the tea room located behind it. The backrest wraps around the seat, perfectly illustrating Mackintosh’s geometric and Art Nouveau style:
