China, circa 1900 Large fish bowl in porcelain and enamels in the green family style on a yellow ground, with decoration running the length of the wall, depicting dignitaries of the Tao in a palace towards which boats carrying deities are heading through a hilly landscape, the rim highlighted at the top with lattice and Greek friezes, the flat rim alternating floral and geometric motifs, the interior adorned with veiled fish among aquatic plants. Height: 40.5 cm - Diameter: 46.5 cm A matching bowl of the same dimensions, damaged in several pieces, decorated with green family on a yellow background, with qilin, birds of prey, a couple of birds, among peonies and rocks.
