Pair of Senoufo style Kpelie masquette
Ivory Coast
Brass
H : 38 cm
Remarkable elegant work on the headdresses of these two masquettes, raised by a set of geometrical motifs. A long central conical crest located at the top of the skull, all in height around which other elements are added. Triangular faces, subtle play of fullness and emptiness that energize facial expressions, eyelids, eyes and mouth hollowed out.
