Statuette of Dan style Ivory Coast Wood, kaolin, cowrie shells, bell, fabric, vegetable fibers, metal Height : 58 cm This anthropozoomorphic statuette presents a male body whose long ringed neck is surmounted by a bird's head that resembles the features of the Gagon mask. The hips are dressed in a loincloth made of vegetable fibers decorated with cowries and the ankles are adorned with bracelets.
